Now that's the sort of anecdotal story we like to read.

The Toscano Antico is fired cured, I have only tried them and the Leccia Black which I found very pleasant but dont let the smell put you off. If you ever smell one you will get what I mean

You Mean the KFC (Kentucky Fire Cured)? I would stay far far away from that. If you are looking for something that tastes like campfire smoke then by all means go ahead. I have had a couple of the KFC and Leccia fire cured. I am more partial to the Leccia myself. The part of Kentucky that I grew up in is more geared to burley tobacco that is air cured and used in cigarette production. Some parts of KY and TN (the next state due south) do a fire and/or flue cured. The fire cured is found mostly in chewing tobacoo. I will give it to DE and Leccia for pushing the bounds of cigar composition, but the fire cured sticks are just not my thing. On a side note....Sam Leccia was associated with Cain and NUB. Here is a picture with yours truly and Sam Leccia and some other guy (my aplogies to the other guy as I have since forgot his name). gallery_15671_1736_1306581.jpg

At least once a week. Our local B&M has a weekly herf with a different manufacturer/distributor each week. It is held at a local bar as my state has not passed a blanket non smoking law as of yet. Honestly I don't think they ever will.
