This can often be the case with many Cubans if you can resist let them rest for up to a year. Ive just smoked a MC No4 which were impossible 18 months ago but now is excellent.

For me 70 is a touch high, try to aim for 65ish and see if things improve for you.
As said it could well just be bad luck.

If your having difficulty with tight or poor burn try storing at 60/65% or try dry boxing.

Have you tried dry boxing or storing at 65? I have found far fewer draw problems since I started storing at lower humidity
On the other hand you could have just been unlucky with those two cigars, have you noticed any problems with any of the others?

Further to that Mark and I often smoke a pair of the same cigars from the same humidor and our burn experience is nearly always different.
