I have one friend who got me into Cigars so obviously no need to share with him however my other friends (Read *the missus* friends). Look at me like I have lit up a bundle of manure covered horse hair when I light and now publicly shun me and sit at least 10m away if I am even invited to social gatherings at all. I am happy with this arrangement its peaceful.

Gets on my nerves that when I fire up…
If the Mrs floats around, I get the 'waving of the hands', the funny looks, the comments…
…smoking's supposed to be relaxing!
Hence why I always try to light up when I KNOW I'll have free time to myself…

That is exactly it; one of my brother in laws I am happy to share a decent cigar with, Usually at Christmas; as we both sit there with a drink and will smoke and chat for ages.

Where as another brother in law is a cigarette smoker and when I give him a stick he just puffs away without looking like he enjoys it- but will ask for one every time we go round for a BBQ.

Yeah get a box of something cheap but inoffensive like those discussed in this thread for the [emoji377] guy and keep the [emoji378][emoji386] for Xmas. That's the [emoji360][emoji251].

The person who got me into cigars started me on PSD5's and Trinny Rob T's. Pretty generous. I do recall giving up at third three to start with but soon grew to like them, now love them. I tend to be tight with people I think don't care and generous with everyone who does smoke cigars or shows genuine interest. I love to share and I'm always keen to have more cigar buddies but the thought of a truly great smoke being wasted isn't a good prospect.

Exactly the same here. I've got a couple mates who say they like a cigar but I can't say I have ever seen them with one. That said I'm not the most social of animals, so they may chain smoke Cohiba's when they are out and about for all I know!

Am a man of routine mate am not spontaneous so like to no exactly whats going on
