    Very true tudoguy notice that when lighting a pipe with pipe tobacco when i put it down say for half hour when i return to light it the taste of the tobacco isen't quite the same like when i smoking it.

    Good point you made there cj even though the foot of the cigar has been cut off i'm sure it still has the smell of a cigar that has been smoked.

    Yeah, can do. Obviously depends on how long it's in there for, but if you're sticking one in there regularly, it will have an effect. I suppose if your handful is rotating quickly you might not notice? Open your humi and check how it smells perhaps.

    I have smoked half a cigar, let it go out, cut it back past any signs of burn and chucked it back in the humidor to smoke when I gat in from work and it was fine. I don't think the end being cut with make one jolt of difference.

    IT should be capped but simply cut with a giant, dull puncher. Shame as it ruins the whole ritual for me.
