Nope have to say not a purger myself , light em up and smoke em , but I'll give it a try , might be ble to taste some wild strawberries , grapefruit elder flower, chocolate , sented gussets et al etc that some of you seem to experience

Well, kindaIt's simply putting a flame to the end whilst blowing through. You'll often get a flamey flare up and when at night can be fun to see.

I purge infrequently and find it helps sometimes. Though I have a vague memory of ButterBallz commenting that he purges frequently as in regularly throughout a whole smoke. Though I could be wrong and may have dreamed it.

After lighting I always blow through the cigar a couple of times before I start to draw on it. I've done it for several years ever since I mentioned to someone that that the cigar I was smoking tasted a bit of chemicals or lighter fuel and he suggested that after lighting I blow through the cigar once or twice to get rid of any fuel vapour. It cured the problem for me and I've done it ever since.
