Padron are by far the best brand me thinks...
Love the 1926's...
Oliva Master Blends 3 are also some great smokes!!

From what I understand, Canada is not a place to get good value on cigars, obviously not as bad as the UK, but they are pretty pricey up there.
My favourite NCs so far include anything by Don Pepin Garcia, CAO La Traviada, Ashton VSG, and Kristoff. Everyone raves on about the Fuentes/Padrons but I didn't really think that much of them TBH.

The prices are abhorrent and not worth the price of admission.

Tatuaje Noella is a NC that I smoke on a regular basis and is really worth a try IMO.

I have another work mate going to the states in October with the same instructions, but he will take ?100. He told me that you get a better deal in the states than you do in Canada as cigars are more expensive in Canada.

Great sticks / lines already mentioned - Oliva, Fuente.
Another good one to try, which are bargain at the price point IMO, are AJ Fernandez sticks - New World, Enclave, San Lotano. Personally I really like his Connecticuts in all three lines. I really like the Oliva Nubs too. They're short sticks but they're not a quick smoke. Connecticut, Maduro, Cameroon and Habano.....

SHAMZ84 I had an RyJ gold medal Robusto last week - very mellow smoke, highly recommended. I'd like to try more sizes in this range.

Hi Shamz. I would recommend any of the Padron series, Oliva Serie V and Melanio series, Arturo Fuente and Liga Privada. The Tatuaje and Rocky Patel brands are also worth trying.
