Facebook groups - are they worth it?

I've seen [MENTION=13402615]PeeJay[/MENTION] smoking and hauling some beauty looking sticks on FB.

FB is great in that it allows you to transition between friends and groups of interest very quickly. The downside is that it can suck all of your time (and more) very quickly.

I don't like Facebook generally and with the cigar group you can get some HTF stuff

I deleted my Facebook profile last year though as in general I just got fed up of it in general

Most of it on there is flipping. People waving around their bundle sticks theyve just been sold for two times their value.

Just go straight to the source... Unless there's something rare or unusual of course.

I am glad someone asked about this, I was wondering what I was missing by not being on Facebook and any of the cigars groups.

Facebook is o.k but,the members of the groups i am in are less knowledgeable than the guys in this forum,no disrespect to those guys over on facebook. It has its uses which i am sure you guys are all aware of...,but in the short time i have been a member on this forum,the discussion about cigars in general is far better IMHO

Most of it is stick waving that's true but they're still a useful resource.

Yeah I often do trades that don’t make me any profit but get me what I’m after. I sometimes buy HTF stuff that I don’t really want just for trade value. Managed to get one or two cool boxes and bottles over the years.

And you can do private buys with the trustworthy guys once you're talking on Messenger.

Yup friends and family in my old profile and groups in the other. I have to say that it didn?t really work out that way as I?ve become truly great friends with many of my contacts from the groups I?m in and as such have added them to both.
I rarely log into my real FB profile these days[emoji23]

And you can do private buys with the trustworthy guys once you're talking on Messenger.

Also if you do start a new profile for groups please use your real name. I’m Tom Ware in my original profile and Thomas Ware in my groups one.
Hiding your identity on FB will stop people from trusting you. Especially in auction groups. [emoji1303]
