Thanks all.
I was thinking about switching from 69 to 65 Boveda’s as I wasn’t happy with how my cigars were burning, this has confirmed it.

Small spec on the foot, don’t think it’s enough to worry me, more concerned about my collection.
Wipe it off and keep an eye on it away from your collection, in a ziplock bag or something.
I’d also consider dropping the RH to 65 if I was you. Although 70% is generally ok a change in temperature can cause the moisture in the air to spike and there is little room for movement above 70, 65 gives you a buffer.

Time to do the annual check then. Mould/plume all the same to me - I’m a microbiologist, but I can say it is more related to temperature than humidity of your looking for the root cause
