How many puffs?

Interesting question, and the way a lot of cigar smokers get their panties in a twist about humidity/box codes etc then I am a bit surprised that no one has done this.

Since it's confession time, for some reason I have always puffed out through the cigar before then taking a draw...

hehehehe... yeah, I can't be bothered... but I came to the thought, when I had a smoke yesterday. Because I usually take 1-2 pre draws, before making a larger draw. So I wondered how ofthen I actually draw on a cigar before it's finished. You know that feeling when you start a cigar and you feel like it will last forever and all of a sudden you are in the third third and think "when did this happen?"

If you were to smoke at the recommended speed of one puff per minute or so then expect 60+ puffs for a decent robusto lasting an hour

I am way too lazy to count myself, so I guess I ask the community. Has anybody ever counted how many puffs they got out of a cigar?
