Read this elsewhere and got me geeking out a bit. I didn't realise Cuba were so adventurous with their seed varieties these days. Most videos seem to imply that one strain of tobacco is used after development due to risk of diseases affecting crop.

    But here we see

'Among the varieties to be sown this time, Havana 92, Corojo 2006 and 2012, Criollo 2010, Virginia 22, 23 and 24 stand out, according to the Tele Pinar digital site.'

Nice to see some pre 2000 strain being used. Interesting because folk are always harping on about the good old days. Wonder where these tobaccos end up, BHK's and reservas?
