So are the quad/triple jets just too much for a cigar? I?m also on the hunt for a decent lighter, I?m leaning toward Xikar

Agreed, only drawback you can?t check how full the reservoir is

Discover the world of S.T. Dupont, French luxury manufacturer of lighters, pens and leather goods.

    These for example.

After much consideration, I've decided on the Xikar Verano in silver, I went onto our sponsors website and asked if there was a promo code, as I'm a forum member, they said no, I also asked if they did free delivery, they said no, so I ordered it from Amazon, same price and free delivery, what's the point of having a sponsor with no benefits, doesn't make sense, atb Daz

Funny I have quite a collection of lighters that I?ve accumulated over the years including a DuPont and a Dunhill soft flame that was a present from my grandmother in the late 70?s when I smoked cigarettes. But I always favour the same lighter as is a reliable workhorse.

Hahah a nice lighter I think is something you ?treat? yourself with once you?ve been enjoying cigars for a while. That?s said I?ve dropped mine that many times it looks like a ?5 special! Works a treat though

Absolutely. Compared to the zippo butane I have the flame is definitely hotter, I believe by design as it has small air intakes to boost oxygen for combustion.

Anyone smoking a few ?15 cigars a week can afford a ?50-100 lighter if needs be, but I think the rate of returns dimishes considerably... They all light cigars. I lose em too often. That's not to say I won't get a colibri stealth sometime soon...
