As Simon says, best not to discuss customs avoidance.
Thanks for thinking of the lads here but we're unable to discuss any foreign purchases at all..... Expect for in the flesh visits to stores

This is a sticky topic.

Please re-read the rules of this site, you appear to be encouraging others to try & import cigars without paying duty, this is not allowed & I expect a Mod will delete this post.

I do a couple of trips a year with a friend to Madrid. ?50 return on easyjet, a nice day out and 400 Quintero Brevas at ?1.60 a stick. Only fly in the ointment is Brexit.

I've used before, but only purchased a hand full of samples that cost less than ?100, but only occurred to me i'm buying two boxes and i'm spending 200+ i'm guessing duty would have to be paid! OR as it within the EU will it be ok...I know the seller says' there aren't sure.

I had an order from US stopped at customs. A demand was made for ?204.30 in tax My order of 5 camacho and 5 RPs came to ?81 including international postage. Seller stated that they've never had any issue with UK previously but...
I still buy from my Glasgow store face to face and I've placed an order with a London Company for things I can't get locally. When you see the difference in prices travel is def the way to go...no pun intended

Travel is the answer, it is easy to do Spain and back in a day with cheapo airlines, only any good for things like JLP,QUINTERO,RG, TOSCANO, which are about a 5th the price of this country. All the premium brands are Euro for ?s.

Fascinating thread, definitely worth the sticky, has made me think twice about ordering abroad and whether or not it it worth it!
We really do get a raw deal in the UK as cigar smokers

When weighing, remember to weigh in the box, that's how HMCR do it. You'd probably be better off coming back with just 50 each, therefore nothing to pay & send the rest to me in Belgium. I'll give you a good price & everyone will be happy

Perhaps contact the customs office before hand and query the fact your planning to bring a collection back with you for personal use when you come back? How long have you been away?
