I have been rather silent in the last week or so because I've been taking everything out of the cellar, ripping the carpet out, sticking a wood floor down and then getting all my stuff back downstairs again.

The window has a double-glazed unit & cover up top. There is a humifan which is always on to extract moisture - although the room has a radiator so I think that this is overkill. I have carpeted the room which is a mistake because it retains te smoke paricles and makes it smell more. I have changed the chair from a fabric to leather one for that reason. The brick stars were re-set and the rotten wood replaced with oak rescued from the beams in the demolished part of the house.

If the smell gets really bad after a smoke I will probably fit a wood floor. The door is sealed with sticky rubber seals and draught excluders. Gaps have been plugged with filler.

This was a few weeks ago & still chaotic but getting better. It currently needs another day or two to get it right. I will need to get some good posters too! I may well decide to bring my humidors down too. It feels right.

I think that there will have to be a little competition to celebrate at the grand opening. Won't be long now!!

I am aware I have neglected this thread of late but this is just because I am waiting for Mrs Moidoid and the little Moidoids to decamp at half term so I can get various manly tasks completed without distraction. One of which is the floor of the cave. I will have to empty the cellar, (sigh), and get the floor down and then get it all back in. And then it will be nearly complete!

And when it is done I have a competition lined up to celebrate its inauguration!!

I am pleased to inform you all that the second phase of testing is complete.

I smoked a third of a Cohiba Robusto and the dispiriting results of that are recorded elsewhere on these pages. The outcome was that the carpet is retaining too much of the smoke and so I will venture to a local flooring retailer at the weekend to procure a load of wood flooring.

I'm currently scouring fleabay for items for the decor too so it will look well saucy soon.

I finished avatar from the blue guys perspective in less than 6 hours , so was gutted. I've still to go back and play as human though. Your right about it being pretty, its a fine looking game

Origins? I just picked this up for the 360. I usually play games on the PC as i play mmorpgs but this looked pretty good. Picked a mage as class, how do they hold up through the game?

Shoulda got it on the PC, you get the top down view which is great for battles and a better UI as well, but too late nvm, still a great game!

As for mages, if you unlock the Arcane Warrior, you will be pretty much untouchable, mages are incredibly overpowered so you will have fun!
