i have acquired two cohiba robusto's recently which im sure are fake.i just chucked them in the humi thinking the same "might smoke em one day".i didnt even give beatles a thought,thank god i read this thread.there now segregated in a hastily made tupperdore

a lot of the fakes aren't even made from tobaco leaf. some are made from bannana leaf that will make you sick if smoked. fair play for giving it a go mate but if you have any more, bung them away

Looks like you smoked a reasonable portion of it though... you must have been running low!

Still, look at the positive. Most of us dream of cutting open a cigar to show the contents (it's no good just seeing it on a screen). Most of us never will, for fear of cutting into a good one... You've had that pleasure...

Got a Cohiba Esplendidos from a friend last eyar and when I saw it, I knew immediately that it was a fake. The band was just wrong and the cigar itself was all lumpy and bumpy.

Anyway, I put it in my humi coz I thought that maybe someday, I'd smoke it, fake or not. Today was that day. I can't buy any mpre and the supply is now critical, so it seemed like a good idea.

It was horrible! Smoking it reminded me of having my head under water in a public swimming pool! There was this awful taste of cholirne,

Anyway, I decided to cut it open to see what was what and you can see from the photo that it was all short filler. The band also felt like cardboard and if you look closely, the printing is atrociaous. The "Cohiba" name is not even embossed.
