I’m now thinking H Upmann half coronas. I’m conscious it will be middle of December and cold outdoors! I’ve sent a few messages and only 10 or so who will want one. I’ll put it out with their table setting for those who would like one.

Totally agree with this.. something really special the night before with dad/uncle/besties and smaller ones to pass around at the wedding just for the fun of it.Originally posted by Tomm783 View PostSomething small as there will be a surprising number of people who will want to “try it” given the special occasion. I was at a wedding last weekend and a 50count humidor of Cohiba shorts went down a storm.
Big ones either get wasted or keep people away from the celebrations.
Save the nice stuff for people who will enjoy it when there’s lots of time to do so.
My tuppence.

I have, they were not especially notable, the Encore Majestic is a good choice for 200, nice box as well, or for more unusual CCs the RA or Punch LCDH... just a note the last RA and Punch I smoked I had to use a draw tool, so you'll need one there as well for CCs, 1 in 3 have draw issues IME, but not quite the look you want at a serene wedding, hacking away.Originally posted by Ditchboy81 View PostAnyone tried the Rocky Patel Grand Reserve Robusto?
Opus X Perfection 5 would be a good choice too for 200 plus if you can find a 10 box.Last edited by Romeo Allones; 17-09-2021, 06:10 PM.

I just did the cigar's at my little sister's wedding, put some Quintero Favorito's in an old box and passed them round. Went down well with everyone.
I took a couple nicer cigar's for myself and a tin of H Upmann Half Corona's for anyone that had smoked a cigar before.

Absolutely will be hidden in the costs for the dayOriginally posted by ha_banos View PostI'd treat them like a bit of a sunk cost among the wedding costs!
You don't who who'll smoke/enjoy or not!
A petite Corona is about a 45-60 minute smoke. The P2 would take me around 90 mins. A Monte/Partagas 5 30-45 mins.
You could just go nuts like Giannis
with the wide Churchills.
my only real treat will be the cigars and a decent pair of Barker shoes. Those things seem insignificant when I have just spent £700 on fake flowers which can't be smoked or worn.

Indeed, you hit the problem, it's heartbreaking to buy 10 cigars & only 2 are fully smoked & you find the others ditched after the photos & a puff or two. I would suggest you smoke the best at your stag do (like I did) & & go for a decent middle of the road smoke on the day. Weddings are very busy & you'l be circulating & won't really have time to sit down & enjoy one until late in the evening.Originally posted by Ditchboy81 View Post
Thanks for the help.
I'm very new to this TBH, I know its all subjective but you fellas must know what's good and what is perhaps less enjoyable. It will probably all be wasted on my guests anyway.
I would recommend tubes as you can hand them out & some might then chose to take the home as a gift. R&J are middle of the road & & would fit the bill. the Monte Petit Tubos (same stick as the No4), would be a suitable alternative.
