Had a pizza from pizzageek they had beer brewed by Pilot? I think he said the brewery is in leith. I’m definitely going to take a slab or two home. So will certainly head there over the next few days.

The area outside Whigams isn't all that to look at but the heaters are the best in Edinburgh.... So good you could probably sit without a coat.

The bar itself is très chic to boot

Hope you’ve all had an amazing Xmas and looking forward to 2023!
I’m in the city and wondered if there were any recommendations for any cigar lounges here in Edinburgh? I’ve not googled only as I’d prefer to drink from the font of all knowledge .. UKFC 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😎👍🏽

Hola amigo!

You can't smoke indoors anywhere in Scotland but the Hotel du Vin is covered and heated. The Sheraton is the same as is The Beehive. Indigo Yard is the same with great cocktails. Outside of Monteith's: same.
There's a wee covered outside Wiggams with ferocious heaters and outstanding cocktails especially the Espresso Martini plus there's always a chance of a live jazz band playing inside

At the top of Leith Walk is The Outhouse which is covered and heated plus The Glasshouse. The latter has gorgeous views but isn't warm in this weather; great in the summer but I'd give it a swerve at this time of year
