Have to side with Monkey on this one. Sounds as though your sticks are too moist.

Thanks to everyone for the replies

The cigars imo look good, not too spongy, some are on the hard side. I mean the Mag 50 i smoked was dry boxed for 5/6 days prior to smoking. I would have thought it would burn fast but it didnt burn at all.

Im suing SeanP's Humi tubes that are supposed to keep humidity at 70% or there abouts.

    Will check the reading again

Sounds like their storage conditions have changed in humidity in the last day or so. Tippexx sent me a link a while back that may shed some light on how humidity moves in and out of cigars. Thread here.

Cigar is too wet. Dry box for 2 or 3 days, before smoking.

How do the cigars seem to you, in terms of humidity? The only time I've seen a cigar burn like that we put it down to the humi running a bit too wet.

    Cigars NOT burning well :(

    Hi guys

I'm having a bit of a problem with my cigars. The last 3 or so that i have smoked have had burn issues.

Usually at the start of a cigar it burns well but then afterwards it goes bad. What i mean is that the cigar bruns only in the inside and doesnt go out towards the edges/wrapper, so the light 'funnels' inside. [Im sorry i cant describe it well, will try to post some pics next time i smoke]

The other thing is when i knock the ash off the unlit part of the cigar is usually black and charred. A few times i have cut the non-burning part of with my cutted and tried to light again but sometimes it wont light but only gets darker.

Im not sure whats going on but its ruining my smoking, the other day i had to throw away a Mag 50 after only smoking 1/4

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
