wouldn't mind copy and pasting here the full one here, though. perhaps i'll just compile a giant thread of my reviews them much like Sailor Simon did!

What an interesting smoke!
Although half way through I got a bit hung up on how you know urinal cakes don't taste as good as they smell. Care to elaborate?

Jose L Piedra Petit Cetros - 06
Little May '06 stick. Bundled and discontinued in this release. I personally don't care; do you?
One of the more damaged sticks in a bundle i got a while back. What happened was that they were so dry when i was carrying them home that it seemed a few broke just by slight contact. Bombed some to Chris (REASON) a while back without thinking this and they were damaged along the way too. Now i have around 15 of these shitty sticks and nothing to do with them. Actually thought they'd be good. And know what? in some respects, they were. I challenged a mate of mine to smoke this one with side damage: smoke it like a flute.
Naturally, that's what he did. And he seemed that he kept that in mind the whole time. Maybe that's why he punch cutted one on the side before punching it regularly. Picture's worth a million words, eh?

At this point, it was already 2 cm smoking in.
Predraw that i checked was somehow pleasantly smooth. The filler was a tad harder than usual on this cigar but i got decent airflow from the cracked cap. Produced a nice mild tobacco flavour that i only get on cigars older than 15 years on cold draws. Very unique and i found it very nice. Naturally, i have smoked 2 of these already and they taste NOTHING like they smell like. Much like urinal cakes.
Anyways, moving on to the first third, we punched a hole in the end and i told him to deepthroat the cigar in order to get good draws. Naturally, that lasted around 3 (VERY HUMOUROUSLY) puffs and we considered cutting it. Neither of us were bothered to actually go inside and fetch my cutter and the one in my wallet was in my wallet... inside my house. Reward wasn't worth the hassle. So he removed the wrapper and bit it off!

Down to the second third now and we actually started to discuss flavours besides 'actually nice' and 'fresh'. Tasted peppery and cedary. He got dominant hints of a certain wood that he couldn't put his finger on and was left confused at how to describe it. Very confused whilst trying to spit bits of tobacco out of his mouth, of course. naturally, i was surprised he actually got a full bite off it!!

Final third was dominated by what he said was like raw potatoes and hints of pepper. Apparently it was very nice. The wafting flavours over to me was pretty nice in itself whilst i worked in my shed.
The cigar apparently had some good finishes. That i wouldn't doubt as he normally doesn't smoke much aged stock.

Final scores: No idea. But it sounded like a pleasantry after he bit off a chunk of it.Tags: None
