I travel quite frequently through terminal 3, always found that if you look around you can find some bargains , cigars with a bit of age on them, seems like if they have been there a few years they have them on special offer, but buyer beware

Boli's from 2001 are safe. BBF's for instance were great.
As for the Royal Corona, I have had a box of '01, but IMHO the '07 and '08 are superior (better blend).

Looking at the bundle of the 898's the variation in size, colour and fill quantity was shocking, 2000 was living up to it's reputation and that is why they are half price. H and F cannot shift them through the specialist market.
They all have the 'revisido' stamp so they have (as I understand it) been inspected by H and F but not considered good enough to get their 'vintage' type band.
The Boli's I am loosing sleep over though, one of the boxes looked dark, slightly crystally and smelt great. I think 2001 is fine on the whole but we are phcycked-out by the 2000 issues ....anyway anything short of retail and I would have gone for the Bolis's (indeed a 10 min delay on my flight and I would have crumbled).
I think sometimes you just have to trust your experience when looking at a box.

There's a reason that stock is still available from then: It's crap and no-one wants to buy it. If it wasn't it would be long gone....try getting stuff from 2002/2003...it's nigh on impossible

I was at T3 a week or two ago... and very tempted... however I held out for duty free in Doha... which was cheap... but not that interesting.

Sounds interesting.
Could the 2001 Bolis RCs be a little bit of a gamble?

Terminal 3 temptation
I'm on another crazy 3 day, 2 country European jaunt and was in T3 at 0500 this morning.
Seems H and F have dumped a bunch of aged sticks there, only snag is most of them are from the feared 2000 vintage.
Some highlights for me:
Party 898 varnished - 00 - ?189 - looked pretty good but a lot of variation stick to stick
Hoyo Churchills - 98 - ?250ish
Boli RC's - 2001 - ?229 - now there was one box out of the 5 that looked dark and stunning ...had to walk away ...very, very temptedTags: None
