I had a chat with the owner of my cigar store today and he believes that most skinny cigars have a sword hanging over their head. They just don't sell anymore. People tend to go for bigger RG cigars today. That's what sells now. Heck, even I have been buying them...
Also guilty. I love the look of a fat cigar, but find them hard work after the first third or so. The Topes is probably the fattest cigar I have smoked and enjoyed, but then I'm a Trinidad fan-boy.
55RG is a little too big for my liking, cigars seem to be getting fatter every year.

A JL 55 RG in ten count boxes and a QdO Libertador (ish) cigar.
I forgot the names of both already but will ask the next time I see the person who has the information.
2019 or 2020 will probably see a very very nice QdO release but I'm not allowed to talk about it yet since it's still in the works. Let's just say that this release will interest quite a few of us.
