I smoked my first '07 one last week and it was lovely. Maybe this is a case for putting down a box of the 09 Bole LE's?

El Rey del Mundo Demi Tasse .... I bought 3 as singles and have smoked 1. Ghastly ... but highly rated and regarded ... though apparently the optimum incubation period for these is 20 years. Which kinda puts me off as I'll be in my eighties by then.

I found the Bolivar Gold Medal's (Wolter's Release) to taste almost like dirt when they first were released. After sitting for six months they improved. Now after two years, they are a treat.

I agree 100% with you on these Steve....always a rough, earthy flavour....eventually sold off the remainder of my box as they never came round (for me anyway)

Firstly the RyJ Robusto LE 2001 ...It was very unbalanced and strong with soapy characteristics these took a few years to mellow out but did improve

Also the Montecristo Edmundo (04)...Very amoniatic, my first boxes of these never improved, but later production didnt have this problem, I think the blend was change dramaticaly
    Any others ....
