Completely agree about the quality of these, I bought a fiver smoked one then immediately ordered a box to lay down for a couple of years. One of my favourite cigars of the year, especially impressive considering it was only about a year old when I smoked it.

I love the Maltes too. I've only had one Leyenda so can't comment, I wonder if that's just a bit too big.

I heave heard that some think the Leyenda too big, I agree; can't imagine smoking one that size often but no doubt I'll try one in due course.

Sure you'll enjoy those Zombie, a richer version of the standard Monte IMHO, I have a box that I picked up in Vigo, giving it 5yrs before I crack it. I want to try a nicely aged one, sure it's gonna be rewarding, although they are one Havana I do enjoy with just a yr or so on them too..

How about a Double Edmundo? Not exactly the same taste, or size, but very close to taste and much cheaper.

The Double is 2-4 quid more, the Edmundo and Dumas are about the same price.

Just ordered a few of these. They look very nice and the band in rose gold is pretty cool. Will give the first one a month rest first.
