I just never got on with the Epi.2, having tried a few of them, they all seemed poorly constructed and the flavour wasnt really there. Epi.1 though, I do enjoy those, and I also prefer the Corona Gorda vitola that they come in.

It's an excellent day time smoke the Epi 1 & 2 but not so well suited to a post dinner cigar.

No clear answer depends on taste between smokers, personally I’d go 2

Some good recommendations already made I would definitely also agree with Ramon Allones Specially Selected and it's smaller version the short club corona. The Bolivar Belicoso is also superb. Punch Double Corona is another favourite of mine. Vegas Robaina Unicos, San Cristobal El Principe and La Fuerza. Hoyo Epicure no.1 and anything from Cuaba for something a bit more left field.

I would say try everything and keep an open mind and avoiding specials is definitely a good shout to deciding for yourself if you see any real value to them

Personally RASS BBF Trini Fundy, Wide Churchill, 898 if you can find and don’t be wary of the cheaper end especially earlier while you’re learning your own palate

Trinidad Media Luna and Vigia, Cohiba Medio Siglo, Bolivar Belicoso, Montecristo Linea Dumas, Romeo Wide and Short Churchills are some of my fave Cubans.
