I used to go and see Desmond Decker and The Specials in Stoke Newington ... reminiscing is bringing a smile to my face.

I didn't mean to pry at all, its just surprising how his stage presence is so different but that's the case of many performers, my days of going to see concerts is long over. anyway I just played the cd and its not what I expected its bad manners but it sounds like jive bunny have got their songs and basically ruined them! ill go back on ebay and find the one I really want!

Seen them a few times always a great night out

I have a thousands of vinyl, many of which are rare, mostly music you would hear in the clubs from 1998 - 2008, i also have the full Technics setup with the famous SL1210 turntables, solid and still run like new. I love the sound of vinyl and the crackle the stylus picks up, you just can't beat it.
Maybe when i return to my homeland i will setup and start playing again....i miss those days.

I have no intention of ever replacing my vinyl with cds. Or ever buying cds instead of vinyl.

I was unlucky enough to work alongside Buster Blood Vessel once. A deeply unpleasant man. The band were great, all young soap-dodging guys that looked at death's door, possibly due to the fact they were constantly on the Moroccan woodbines and special brew coupled with the fact they were so underpaid I'm surprised they had money to eat. However, in all fairness, when they went on stage they were fantastic, Buster included.
