I buy a very decent grade A maple from Costco for ?10 per ltr. I promise you its good gear, I used to buy that Buckwood stuff but switch over. Very good and not blended crap.
I was about to say this, when I plan ahead that's pretty much what I do.... Other times I just buy the small expensive bottles on impulse.

Yeah. That's what we get, too. The locals know just to get it from small places too. Not the bleeding impossibly expensive tourist bottle prices

Costco do the spotted pig bacon for cheap aswell and its very yummy
If you mean maple syrup its stupid money, ?6 a bottle for the decent stuff
