Got a 4-week doctors out of work note for that! Ended up using it to relax in the sun; "It needs to dry", "The Sun helps your skin heal" said I, will I puffed away with my nice cold beer every sunny afternoon.

In update, I've just returned from A+E with antibiotics. Thank you for all the knowledge/advice/input which TBH, gave me the impetus that was needed. I'd have probably left it a bit longer to see if it had subsided...[emoji88]

As duty medic, I have to agree with Ed & the go get medical advice asap group. Looks like it has become cellutits, which can spread up the limb & become life threatening septicemia or you can start antibiotics today!
