No but whilst on duty I could drive HGVs and PSVs for the purpose of testing or removing them. Funnily enough my grandfather was a tank driver Unknown.png

I had to reapply for my licence as it expires this year. It came through quickly after linking it to my passport & they used the photo on record from it as well.

The cover letter says they're dropping the paper counterpart this year.

I noticed the vehicle categories on the back of my new one now includes "A" which is:

• motorbikes with a power output more than 35kW or a power to weight ratio more than 0.2kW/kg
• motor tricycles with a power output more than 15kW

Thats news to me! I used to ride a 125cc as a teen but never did the full test. Then after a few near misses and a front tyre blowout at 50mph i gave bikes up.

However midlife has arrived & I'm tempted to go and get an R1
