does it price favourably compared to cigar afficionado? much as its well written and produced, its a touch remote to a European / UK reader.

I'd welcome something written from a more proximate perspective.

Thanks for the feedback. Just to clarify; Cigar Journal is an internationally known cigar magazine that has been running for years. I write for it and was interested in people's reading habits.

Sorry I didn't provide feedback earlier.

I think you have put out a high quality publication, materials feel good and visually it's nice... Overall feel and look is fitting for a "Premium" publication I feel. There's also some interesting content and overall the layout is clear and approachable.

Ultimately though I won't be subscribing, I don't expect anyone to agree with me on this but I find the multi lingual layout distracting and for me it reflects and amounts to a high percentage of wasted space on a page in effect halving the size of the magazine.

That said I understand that it's a good idea to do this in a relatively niche product so you can offer it in numerous markets without making multiple editions. So I would say overall you will gain and not lose subscribers.

One final personal preference is perhaps that my historic magazine consumption has migrated online and while I don't like traditional PDF style print on screen magazines and am not sure I want to migrate back to paper for regular publications, I would certainly consume your articles if they were provided via a format such a Pinterest.

All the best and I'm sure you will have great success.

    Marc
