Those tubes look the business Andy. I only ever use tubos to transport cigar around but they often get squashed/ flattened..... Those look indestructible

it has some serious weight to it.... I suspect you could happily drive over it without fear of crushing!!!!

          • This particular one takes up to a corona gorda (46) if I remember a 48 is a bit too snug, as CG's are my favourite vitola I was fine with that. I've some nicely crafted gold alloy tubes which take up to about 54 - these are nice too.

They sure are nice! Roomy and solid. Less of a blunt trauma weapon than this one, but it would still make your eyes water!

Some custom rolls just landed... some of the petit pyramides which were COTM a few months back, c/o PeeJay, and some 'Bullets' from the same source. super strong smell rich and punchy. min 5 years aged cubans... medium to full in flavour. More details on them in the COTM 'reveal' posting if anyone is really curious.

                        • they look great..do not want to sound dumb...but what are these custom rolled stogies?..do you ask them to make you something different or is it something a vendor would sell one off? do you choose what type of tobacco you want in the roll??? just curios as i've seen a few of you guy smoking them

                          • simples... in the main different vendors offer their own 'house' custom rolls. these are then sold, unbranded. In this instance I believe the roller is formerly of Romeo y Julietta, and rolling specific sticks, with 5+year aged cuban leaf.

Variously around the world cigar stores often have a roller in house. From reading, not visiting, I believe they are quite common in the LCDH stores and major hotels in Cuba.

I have also had some specially rolled sticks by a Davidoff roller who was doing a tour years ago. In simple terms it was a gigantic fella showing off his talents rolling what he fancied, and what he enjoyed! I think some of the CGars stores have someone coming to so something similar in the next few months. i

Ping me a PM and I can point you at the source.
