Not NC but Ramon Allones Short Club Corona is an excellent choice for a short smoke.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Belicoso is also pretty good.

And most of what was recommended already. For cuban shorts, my favourite are Juan Lopez 2 and ERDMs, but the above mentioned will give you better value for money.

Thanks guys, a lot of suggestions in here. I’ll have a look through all those recommendations and try and grab some of each.

On a side note, does anyone know where people are selling now other than here? I see Spirited Smoke isn’t really active anymore, has it all gone back to Facebook?

For NC’s I would agree with what others have already recommended - I would also add Diamond Crown Julius Caesar - stunning, AF Short Story is full of flavour, Leon Jimenes Petit Coronas fantastic value in boxes of 10, Alejandro Lopez Short Robusto - so much flavour. I’m a big fan of Bespoke/Casdagli cigars, but they’re not far off Cuban prices - but they are easily comparable with some of the best Cuban smokes I’ve had.

A stunner NC I had recently come across, was recommended by Niela , I’m sure he could recommend some others. I’m sure PeeJay will be along and can add further ones to your shortlist.

Not mentioning the small Padrons you recently picked up? They’re much better than any of the smaller Davidoff’s I’ve tried imo.

The smaller size of last calls (chiquitos?) are also very good for a budget smoke.

Others love the Undercrown flying pigs but they’ve been a bit heavy on the nicotine for me.

Davidoff have some good ones, the Late Hour Panatella, Winston Churchill Raconteur Petit Panatella, Escurio and Yamasa Petit Robustos, Nicaraguan Short Corona.

And Fuente have the Short Story, Petit Corona and Don Carlos 4.

I have smoked the Oliva Connecticut Reserve in robusto and they are quite nice for that classic Connecticut profile. But yeah the Petit Corona and smaller ring gauges arent a particularly popular vitola over the pond...

I'd second the Davidoff Petit Panatela, short filler (I believe?) But nice flavour and good for 20-40 mins depending how rushed you are.

Also the Avo Puritos and Camacho Machitos are decent short smokes at a sensible price point.

I was considering getting some, but I think I'm going to try and go into hibernation over the winter... Prevent me smoking cigars I can otherwise save for the summer when I can enjoy them more.

I believe Vitola and PeeJay are your go to guys for all things NC.

HUHC still stand as probably one of my best smokes so far in my journey and each time I've had one I've really enjoyed it. I'm sure you'll like them too 🙂👍🏻

With summer very close to being over I’m starting to think about some shorter smokes, currently I’ve only really got Party Shorts and RyJ Petit Churchill’s so I’m looking to add a couple of others to the mix. I intend on getting some Boli pc’s as well as some HUHC’s but they probably won’t have much age so I’ve turned my attention to the NC world to try and find some alternatives.

It’s such a large market and from what I’ve seen they seem to favour the overly large sizes as opposed to the smaller. I’ve found some Oliva pc’s that I will almost certainly be buying but I was hoping for some input from anyone who knows the market better for alternative suggestions.

All advice is greatly appreciated!
