La Aurora Perferidos

hello folks.

Anyone tell me about these cigars? I never smoked them but I am thinking of selling them in my pub and smoking a few myself. Are they a good smoke?

The Preferidos are new to the UK - the figuarado shape (circa 1890's). Length is 5inches and 54 gauge. Price is somewhere between ?15 & ?17



The Platinum was rated in the Cigar Aficionado Top 25 a few years ago.

The tubes are special but it is the cigar that makes it a top Dominican cigar.

Umm. I've tried 'em all, lad, and keep a few boxes in don TJ's massive humidor (he doesn't know it, so mums the word ).

All are very nice - the old style perfecto, the favor - and come in the coolest tubes, though you can buy them without the tube for considerably less.

Although they are a bit expensive, they rank high among the better NCs, IMO!

I've tried the Platinum, very nice cigar. Lots of flavour and excellent presentation. Unfortunately, as it was a sample, I didn't get to keep the tube. The different colour tubes signify different wrapper leaves, however, I can only comment on the Platinum (Cameroon wrapper).

A little bit of everything flavour wise, nice and complex. Coffee and cream to begin, then a little bit of spice and leather through the middle, before nuts and more coffee at the end. Excellent burn and draw too. Plus it looks awesome.
