It's a Weber Meerschaum lined 'English Para' I bought it as a lightly used estate off a guy in the states. It's a medium bowl and one of my favourites. If I want an unadulterated taste of a new tobacco, to get a feel for it, I generally take it fora trial run out in the Weber. I guess the same goes for older stock/tobaccos too
The best and simplest way Wigan to start with flake is to take your flake and rub together in your hands with a cupped Palm so it doesn't compact it too much , when it's rubbed out take your pipe bowl and gently swirl the bowl over the rubbed flake in your Palm gathering the tobacco into the pipe . You will end up with a loosely packed pipe ready to smoke
