What would be the benefit? Forum rules would apply, you can only use it when you're on so it wouldn't add anything at all. It wouldn't be private, that's what PMs are for and like Deano said, it would be open to abuse.

We used to have one and it was popular. There was some abuse of it towards the end IIRR (flaming etc) , but I'm sure Deano will pop along on the thread soon and comment about its viability. Of course there may also be a cost implication : /
