    Cigar cut trends

    Is it just me or does there seem to be more of a move to v cut from the traditional straight cut?
    Maybe I'm just noticing more .

    Anyway if people are moving then why? Just trying something new or actually gives a better draw experience?

    Less likely to pull off the cap with a v cut but i tend to get a better draw with a straight cut.

          first cutter I ever bought was a V cutter, not very good , used to cut one way then the other way

                    It seems to have become more popular due to the Colibri cutter as I think it's a deeper v which people seem to like. I've tried the v but prefer a straight guillotine.

                      I favour a V Cut, recently invested in the Colibri cutter as a result. I have found I get better draw and more flavours coming through with a V Cut as opposed to the straight cut. Never tried a punch, even though I carry a punch cutter on my keys.

                      To answer the original question, I have also noticed that more people are using a V Cut. I only recall seeing it over the past 12 months really, before that point, I only ever saw a guillotine cut.

                        Personally I be always used the V cut and straight cut, never been much of a fan of the punch though.

                            To date I've just used the free cutters which come with my orders.
                            The cuban crafters is what I want but out my price in rhe UK.
                            So colibri v cut is an option.

                              Not actually used anything but a straight cut but will see what a V cut is like at some point I meet someone with a V cutter.

                              I did see a picture of someone guillotine cut a Torpedo at a 45 degree angle. Anyone know why?
