    Hello!

My father has one unopened box of the above and one opened one (with 22 of 25 cigars intact).

He has promised to cut me in if I can help him sell them

I listed them on Ebay, only to find they don't allow tobacco products, so I had to take it down before we received any bids.

My intention isn't to invite offers from your good selves (unless of course the Admins allow that and you really want to!), but to ask your advice on two counts: how much are they worth, do you think? And where/how would be best to sell them?

    Thank you in advance,
A daughter who needs to pay for her text books.

He tried the second seal.jpgbox and found them very dry. I know they haven't been stored in a humidor or anything, but I don't think they've ever been mishandled, as it were.

They were purchased by my Grandfather, who travelled extensively. I don't know much more than that but I can find out if it's important. As for paperwork, none that I know of but the government seal is intact on the first box.

Please be sure to stick to the rules about the number of posts required before you sell anything (I am sure you have read these!)

Asking for advice about where to sell is no problem.

i am afraid if they have not been stored properly there is a very good chance that because of there age (the youngest they could be would be from early 70s i think) so maybe 40 years of no humidification that they are worth less as they would most likely have dried out beyond all hope

See that's weird, cos a cigar merchant has already offered him several hundred for them. I'm trying to figure out what's not stacking up here. Thanks anyway peanutpete.

if a cigar merchant already made him an offer i would say take it,i do not think anyone here would pay you "hundreds" of pounds for them if they have not been stored properly

No "thanks?" about it. These cigars will almost definitely be crap if they've been out of a humidor. Dry, crispy, oil-free and desiccated...take your hundreds and run!

Gents, if I'm reading this thread correctly I don't think the lady is trying to sell the cigars here but is seeking the correct direction on getting them valued, sold within the cigar collectors establishment and not being ripped off.

We can do that can't we..?
