I've been crazy busy lately, but finally got around to blogging about my first experience of the cigar auction at Boisdale - http://yngcigarsmoker.wordpress.com/...st-experience/

I Have only just joined the forum. Sad, missed the auction! And the next one is not until another six months! >>
Am off to the Caribbean in Feb so am sure will pick up some good ones there at a reasonable price. Has anyone got any decent aged cigar recommendations? Last time I was there, a year ago, I was too careful to go for the aged ones, so played safe and picked up a box of 25 partagas series D4 for 250 dollars. Nice cigar, nice price...

Is there a list of the lots and what they eventually sold for available anywhere?

Thanks for the write up YCS, was a nice little read, nice to see what goes on as I've wanted to pop my head along for a while now. I can imagine not bidding however, and just sitting and watching everyone else have the fun for all those hours could get a little tedious!

This would definitely be an interesting read if available.

Sent from mobile so should read Cgars and not Chars :-)

Thank you for the write up, having never attended an auction of cigars before it gave me a real feeling of what it was like to be in the thick of it.

Also well done on not getting 'drawn in' to bid on anything, true willpower!
