Im very partial to a gin martini stirred not shaken as only barbarians and savages shake martinis.

Atm im making it with 2 1/2oz Tanqueray No10 gin,1/2oz of dolin dry vermouth and a splash of home made orange bitters with a slice of cucumber to garnish.

That or ill have a wild turkey old fashioned with my bolivars though unlike the bar in the OXO tower that i had the displeasure of ordering from i use a orange twist instead of a segment and i dont muddle my cocktail cherrys into little bits i swear the head barman there needs to be shot.

Oh and ive been experimenting with the "pousse cafe variation No12" for those times i want something nice but i cant decide what so its pretty much grenadine - cr?me de Violette - maraschino - brandy - green chartreuse layered on top of each other in that order.

I'm not familiar with "double Goslings." Google told me it's a rum. What is the proportion of rum to ginger beer, senor Prince?

      Perro, el Perro

Hey el P! I bet "double" is barman's speak for the amount.

Haha! I bet e's got ya' there, ya' stupid looking dog smiley!

The no. 12 sounds very appealing. No use if you have a shaky hand

              Silk Stocking or Brandy Alexander.

Come to think of it, most of my favourites contain cream

Talking of cream i picked up a dip 2 a few hours ago and was wondering what to drink with it so in the end i decided on.

                2oz double cream
                2oz baileys
                1oz Kahlua
                1oz Creme de cacao
A small dash of cinnamon schnapps
And a dash of dark chocolate bitters

Shaken over ice and garnished with a generous amount of fresh nutmeg was delicious with the dippy clove and milkshake goodness.

My fave cocktail is by FAR Margarita. Taste even better when served by the lovely ladies at Casa Fuente in Las Vegas.

I think I'd have to say a Ritz Mojito.

Make a Mojito as usual (Havana Club 7 anos preferably) and instead of topping up with soda, top up with Champagne. Very tasty.

Failing that, am partial to a G&T with a cigar.

A 'Tom Collins' is quiet refreshing in the summer:
                        • 2 oz gin
                        • 1 oz. Lemon juice
                        • 1 teaspoon Sugar
                        • Soda water

And I know its a bit of a dell boy drink but surely a Pina Colada when on holiday?...or not?lol

Fever Tree or Fentimans are a good bet.

I spent four years living in Plymouth and may have ended up in the Gin Distillery's bar with (non) alarming regularity.
