  • Are these any good?

Hey guy I'm off to gauntleys tomorrow (not had chance to go up until now) and being a total newbie and not knowing what I like yet was wondering if this sampler was worth buying. Are the cigars in it across tge range of bodies? Cheers.

Can't comment on the sampler, but interested to know if there is anything else you plan picking up in particular?

Hi Benjy as a Newbie I think you cant go wrong 10 round the world smokes for 30 quid , you will learn about different tastes and help appreciate the Cuban flavour , and improve on cigar smoking ettiquete .
Having said there is not anything there that i'm familiar with . Enjoy and let us know how you find them.

Yeah, I'd go for it and just learn about smoking as mentioned already. Maybe buy a Ramon Allones Small Club Corona as well as that. You can't go wrong with them! RyJ No.3 are also a good place to start

All these cigars are industrial cigars: short filler, machine made and wrappers made of "homogenized tobacco"… not very interesting IMHO…

Hi, Small club, `industrial cigars' not a term i'm familiar with , do you mean factory made as already implied ? I think one has to sample varied cigars to appreciate the Puros.

In that case I think I'll just make up my own selection :-)

I would go for this selection at the same price,

half the number of cigars but a lot more enjoyment to my mind,
