Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone has made their own ammo box humidor? I have aquired the attached ammo box which I intend to line with cedar and put a 2nd layer in there.

It has a really good rubber seal on it so its nice and airtight.
Is there a specific type of cedar I should line it with?

Now that's a great idea, will be interested to see how it works out!

It's Spanish ceader you want, which isn't actually ceader as I understand it. Old cigar boxes are one way to get it, cgars sell them for not a lot.

                What about residual smells?

                  Do you mean Cordite Si?

This might help. Spanish Cedar isn't easy to get in the UK, but rosewood and mahogany are just as good.

If you want to, you can.

                    Benjy

How many (empty) boxes would you need? I might have a couple of spares that you can have.
