I think they were a good idea, as they help show newbie whos who. ie if someones got award after award then they are probably reasonably trust worthy if trading with or buying from or selling to??

Also it does kinda promote better behaviour in a small way..... if someones sees another member with loads of donation medals then they may be inclined to donate as well?

Plus I quite like the reward in my sad little life. lol.

Seriously tho, if its major effort then I think everyone wouldnt understand if they dont return.
