  • Good vodka suggestions

I am going to be best man at a friends wedding. His favourite spirit is vodka, anyone have any suggestions for a really good one for the night before? I know rum but not vodka, the best I have had was Smirnoff copper still! The cigars for the night will take much more consideration!
    Any help will be appreciated.

Russian standard gold is very smooth and a very decent price. :-)

I saw a bottle of potato vodka in a specialist outlet the other day, it looks interesting and gets good write ups. im not sure if it would fit with your requirements, but it stood out for me when I saw it

One of the few drinks I've never taken to, never found it appealing!

Quite a fan of the Stolichanaya range here. Need to get back to my (partially) Russian roots and sample some of the current crop of vodkas, there's a lot of new stuff in the last few years that need testing.

+1 here too!! 'er indoors drinks it, mainly a 'caucasian' or 'white russian' a la the dude from 'the big lebowski' (vodka, kahlua, milk), or vodka martinis!! mainly, it's 'russian standard'! celebration times, it's grey goose...... i got her the chase marmalade vodka for xmas, she liked it!! btw, she absolutely hates smirnoff and absolute, and the 'flavoured' vodkas!! so there you have it:
                      under ?20=russian standard
                      over ?20 = grey goose

Ciroc gets rave reviews but cant vouch for it personally as I cant stand the stuff, tastes how I imagine paint stripper would taste!!

This looked and read interestingly in Morrisons the other day, but I've no idea what it's like. Perhaps someone on here has experience?
