  • H Upmann Sir Winston-Discontinued?

Does anyone know what's happened to the Upmann Sir Winnie? I can't seem to find them anyway, CGARS no longer have them listed on the website?

    Have they been discontinued?

Be a great shame if they are, only slightly behind the Espl?ndios in terms of Churchills IMHO, a top quality stick, very herbal!

Do any of you know anywhere with some still in stock?

My local B&M (by that, I mean a B&M 150km away from me. But the cheapest one!) has them for $25~. That's just a tad more expensive than the Ramon Allones EL2011 which you might as well enjoy now before they're all gone!

Sir Winnies can wait.. I hope.....

A dangerous thing to do. Few cigars can match a Sir Winnie .... and like Ross said, they're not made in big quantities.

Hmmmm.. Monte 520s are a buck more expensive than the Sir Winnies on my list.. Think that's something I should get first..
I seem to compare sticks like that.. Always tempted by the LEs as they'll be gone in 1 year or 3.

Maybe I should start thinking of the Sir Winnies as LE and rare now too.. Of the pepolle I trick the most, I enjoy doing it to me the most

Personally chasing after the EL and ER at the expense regular production is a mugs game. The regular production is what your going to be smoking for the next 30 years.

A good SW is one of the great smokes. Not discontinued just few and far between. Generally well worth the coin.

Just went through a hassle to get some of the Hoyo Du Gourmets.... Currently on the search for Du Dauphins and Du Rois.. Wanting to try the entire Hoyo line up right now and am starting with the Du Xs and Connie Xs
But damn are you not mistaken Monks: these hoyos are VERY few and gotta go all around the world to find the bastards.

Sliggy, it's good to have any LEs and REs to smoke on special occasions. But i do conceed.. Reg Production is probably the holy grail of all the sticks.. Because they need to be good AND need to be always around.
