Meh. NC tobacco so the quality must be shite.
It's also only 50 bucks for almost a pound of tobacco. Man when I lead an armed revolution of the Congo, i'll implement some sort of Communism to have ties with Cuba.
Then I'd commission a good BHK133 like that

That looks utterly ridiculous. Can't believe he actually managed to smoke it all the way down.

Doesn't even look like he's smoking it, just blowing out through it.

Fair play for smoking it! I'd have been done after 10 minutes haha

More info from David Savona here....
If there was any doubt about the fat cigar trend spreading around the world, it was erased last night here in Havana at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. Around 10 p.m., as the band played and the waiters poured a bit more of the 2010 Chateau d'Esclans, a troupe of gorgeous models bearing wooden trays emerged from the back, handing each seated guest a fat, dark cigar the size of a roll of quarters. | Cigar Aficionado

It looks a bit too thick for my liking, anything over 50 I find is starts to make the jaw ache!

Not that, that will stop me buying one though!

Bit silly but no doubt they will sell. Not to me though.

I must say... And probably a boring comparison to anyone not into watches like I am, but watches had a phase of being 'oversize' and case sizes going up from around 40mm to 44 them 48 even 50mm. This has now largely passed and most makers have settled back to 40/42mm. I would imaging that this will be the same with Cigars. Classic sizes are classic because they are the best compromise between size, construction and ergonomics. I predict the really large sizes will be a fad and may last a few years but ultimately will become less popular again... The 'short' Cigars however suit the modern smokers with less time but still wanting full flavour. They will become new classics. Just my few cents...

With you on that James, I have always preferred a slim watch and would have a Rado if money was no object, had to settle for a Citizen Stiletto on my wages.

Agree with James & PJ on Watches But also with James on the fat sticks & the short sticks. It's not just shortage of time to smoke a longer stick; in the UK it's defiantely how long you can hack sitting outside the 10months of the year that are less than 'sub tropical' because you haven't got anywhere indoors to smoke. Standing outside a pub for 2-3mns for a fag easy- sitting outside a pub for 1-1/12hrs with a decent size stick requires suitable fortitude & clothing & lessens the flav released from the stick & the pleasure of the anticipated experience.

Quite. It's ridiculous that we can't sit in a dedicated smoking area indoors.

I don't understand why, if we can have sampling areas in specialist Tobacconists we can't have dedicated lounges.... Even if it was only on a registered member basis.
