06s i had were quite nice... but other years (had an 01 few days back) were one profiled and bland.

It was from 2001, and was box pressed into a very flat shape (it was almost a rectangle!) - I don't know if most of the Dippy No. 3s were like this?

This one just seemed to have gone through some sort of extreme box press process, I've never seen a cigar that shape before

A dip 3 for me too 2001 with a plymouth gin and tonic.



As others have said it was box pressed which left it firm to the touch and draw.

One of the oldest cigars I have smoked and it was a joy. I agree it was a bit one dimensional but smooth and a pleasant taste. I think it was helped by the fruity sharpness of the gin adding a bit more complexity.

One of my top ten smokes. Might have to get some more.
