Cheers to everyone for, advice and opinions

I smoked the Chinchalero Sportivo last night as it was the cheapest. First third was the first time I've found a cigar hard work. Terrible draw, next to no flavour or aroma. Middle third improved a lot in draw, flavour and aroma and last third was just passable. Won't bother with it again.

I like the "smoke less. smoke better" idea. Have a long list that should take the rest of the year to try out but tonight it's a Bolivar No. 2 with a white Russian or four while watching The Big Lebowski

Smoke the Boli next and you're going to be sooo disappointed with the rest

That sounds like a cracking way to spend the evening! I think it'll be a decent pairing as well could go either way though with the drink [emoji4]

I've had the chinchalero "nub" looking one can't remember what it's called but that was ok [emoji4]

I agree about the Chinchaleros, very good value, but not the most exciting cigars. The Inka range is very good for value too (but then I would say that, wouldn't I ;-) ). As far as Cubans go, I personally think the Upmann Majestics and RG Perlas are both amazing smokes that usually retail for under ?10.

Trinidad Reyes, ERDM Demi Tasse, Hoyo Du Maire, Jose L. Piedra Cazadores, Jose L. Piedra Conservas, Por Larranaga Petit Corona, Punch Margaritas, Ramon Allones Small Club Coronas, Romeo y Julieta Petit Princess, Romeo y Julieta Petit Julietas.

These are all Cubans I have enjoyed that are under ?10 UK, mind that some are very small cigars.... But that can be a good thing in my books.

My favorite budget Cubans are: Upmann Regalias and Epicures, RyJ Mille Fluers, Partagas Mille Fluers & Petit Coronas Esapecials, Quintero Brevas & Favoritos as well as Rafeal Gonzalas Perlas.

I've got some Favoritos on their way in the post right now. It'll be my first time. I am always wary about cheaper smokes lest the old adage "You get what you pay for" rears its ugly head! However I enjoy Fonesca cigars and yes even enjoyed a Guantanamera, I know it's hard to believe! Even now I favour the mid range cigars over the shiny "premium" sticks since more often than not the only premium most of them posses is all in the price!
I've smoked many a Fonseca that out did a Cohiba of similar vitola and age.

I adore the SLR Petit Coronas. snapped up a pack at ?35 when they were being sold off. Still some on Cgarsltd at ?45 and sorely tempted but resisting for financial reasons.

I have only had the Petit Cazadores but i must admit I thought it was a nice cigar for the price. A 25 bundle of these is only 45euro in Spain- well worth stocking the humi for that sort of money.

I like the Punch tres petit corona. It's a little over ?7 and was probably the best sub ?10 stick I've had so far. A bit on the strong side for a nicotine lightweight like me but it lasted me an hour and was very very nice.

Partagas Chico. Best budget cuban. However is there such a thing as budget cuban in the UK?

Smoke less smoke better has been my motto from the start, wobbled occasionally & usually regretted it.
