  • Suggestions for my next batch! - The cigars i enjoyed.

So, after a kind gesture of being bombed, I am running out of cigars! I've smoked plenty of cigars over the past few weeks and let's just say i'm pretty much obsessed with them now! (The BEST things ever, in life).

Here are the ones I've enjoyed the most, maybe you can suggest some more which will be a like or I may like.
    Here are my favourites:
    ! = Favourites

    !Oliva G
    Rocky Patel Vintage 1990
    !El Rey Del Mundo Habana
    Famous Buenos Madoritos
    Rafael Gonzales
!Romeo Y Julieta (Really enjoyed that one, just smoked it with a bottle of Peroni)

Can anyone suggest anymore which are similar to these, especially the favourites.

Thanks a bunch and I still have some more to go, I've been saving the bigger ones for a day like this where I can sit outside with a beer to enjoy them!

So far, i'm really enjoying them, I've almost mastered not inhaling the smoke and also taking a nice draw to get a good flavour, very happy I decided to smoke cigars, love them.

P.S Sorry about my cigar terminology, I'm still learning.
Also, the forum is great, I love the community here.

Check out other Rafel Gonzales, there's the Perla. That's available over here & a smaller smoke as a starter or when you only have 30mins or so. The one I tried was a little disappointing but many are enjoying these. The PC & Coronas Extra are far better, Lonsdale (the original of this vitola) & Slenderella are excellent but discontinued so tricker to find.

That Rafael Gonzalez was one I sent I think, if so it was a Cigaritto which are discontinued.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1404628485.671482.jpg It also had 14 years of age which will have helped it along somewhat. Aaron I would suggest getting a sampler pack but if your looking for a small smoke and enjoyed the Olivia G then maybe try the Super G MaduroImageUploadedByTapatalk1404628467.987445.jpg very good cigar at a great price IMO. If you want a larger smoke I recently found the Ramon Allons Superiores to be a wonderful cigar, possibly one of the best in its price range and even in higher price rangesImageUploadedByTapatalk1404628658.286009.jpg
I hope that helps with ideas to buy boxes but as I said at the start you might enjoy a sampler pack more due to the discovery that they offer.

No they're not a huge size, I find them a lovely size, shape and flavour profile actually. I had to order a box after trying my first one from a trade with rascal. They're on the way as we speak along with a cab of Reyes which I've never even tried! Also want to try HdME2. Anyway point being the RAS are now one of my fave cigars, I suggested them as a larger cigar as most other cigars listed in the thread were smaller ones.

If you can get the coneys or any of the exclusivo range I'd buy as many as you'd sell, I've had one and tried to find them since with no luck. I read that they only produced something like 100 boxes of the coney's! That seems unlikely to me but given that there are none to be found maybe its true. I hereby declare an open ended offer to buy any of these FyR Exclusivo if anyone want to sell them. [emoji4]

Hey Aaron, was up in Mansfield slinging furniture around to help my brother move house yesterday, lovely weather shame I didn't have time for a smoke!

I'd suggest trying the San Luis Rey Petit Corona. They have five packs which are all about five years aged (they were discontinued then so you've a guaranteed minimum age) and for the money they are absolutely stunning.

I'm really surprised to hear you say that, I found it to be one of the smoothest smokes I've yet had. Now I know all of this is subjective but you having a strong one and me a smooth one makes me wonder what happened. Do you mean nicotine strong or harsh smoke?

Not nicotine, just a really overpowering one dimensional taste. Even at rest it was like a chimney just billowing clouds of smoke out constantly. I hope it was just a bad one.

                              These should be compulsory smoking.
