Andy84, try LGC & ERDM, preferably with 3-5yrs (easier than you'd think most come with this, especially the deleted stix) best 10-20yrs+ & you'll see how wonderful an aged thin stick can be.

I don't really have a preference on the cigar size, although I think Lonsdales as the most elegant looking stick, you just look classy holding them

i personally think a panatela looks the most elegant, but a Lonsdale is up there.

I'm not sure who told you that slim sticks dont develop complex flavours.....
                      I'm not sure either!

Thanks, will add them to my list. Just ordered a Demi Tasse actually, aged about 5 minutes no doubt!

but a Lonsdale is up there
                      Up where?

Robusto/ Belicosos just right , plenty of choice here, or a PC. for the winter months.

Oooh, belicosos is a very good one. To me there's something very alluring about a tapered head. (So I suppose I could add perfecto to my increasingly long list... )

                            yes, will concur.
For me in order of likings, it will be (coupled with examples):
Lonsdale (Bolivar Gold Medal/ Lonsdale, all 8-9-8s)
                            Perfecto (New RA Swiss Regional)
                            Gran Corona (Siglo III)
                            Lancero (Cohiba Lancero/ Fundadores)
Panetela Larga (LGC MdO 3/ ERdM Elegantes)
Mareva (Siglo II, Any petit corona)

                            Jeremy's infamous list:
                            Anything 50+ in ring gauge
Robustos (Hermoso 4 i'm okay with)
                            Giant Perfecto (Diamendes)

One thing I will say is that what I prefer and what I'm actually able to smoke rarely align.

Being a Father to a 6 yo boy and 7 week old girl means that more often than not it's a late night HUHC than anything more substantial.

Totally understand that - one of the main reasons why I haven't gone large yet!
Huhc for me too last night for pretty much exactly the same reason!
