Hello all, as promised last time out, I am giving a little more notice of the next Humour-dor event at JJ Fox! For those not in the know, this is a truly amazing evening of comedy and cigars (not to mention food and drinks). I may be over-selling it a little...

So, the next one will be on November 6th at JJ Fox. Neil McFarlane will pop along again to hold the show together, and we'll also have a new headline act, Matt Green. As ever, there will be nibbles on arrival - I do promise not to keep talking about the cheese this time... A selection of single malts will be back in action this time, along with soft drinks and wine.

School half-term... Oops, not the greatest planning it seems. Thanks for the heads up chaps. I'm popping into JJF this afternoon so may see if we can shift things around before anyone commits.

Still waiting on confirmation as to whether I can shift the date (fingers crossed, as it looks like it would suit a lot of people).

As for cigar snooky, I had the Juan Lopez No2 in mind, but, as ever, open to suggestions. Same with the whiskies - those who were at the first will know the sort of range we had going, so stuff from that sort of bracket is ideal.

Good news guys! Just had a quick chat with Ryan, and we've been able to move the date to November 6th (the following Thursday).

I really should bear in mind to think about school holidays in future...
