Fake 1966????

There appears to have been a distinct lack of clarity relating to this trade. I know it's not really my place to open my mouth on this, but as it's in the open forum and we all have a vested interest in things working nicely here I will point out.

This is precisely why it's important to be very clear about what is included in the trade/sale... Exactly how much you are paying, how many sticks you are getting and where they are coming from are extremely important bits of information.

How people can purchase from this place when a simple question to a veteran of ANY cigar forum would avoid making a mistake, always surprises me?

Did you, by any chance, pay about 280 euro for these?
I'm sorry for your trouble, the money and whatever else this might cost you but that should have been your first warning.
Those cigars are 330 euro for 10 in Spain.
A spanish retailer, already breaking spanish law by sending cigars out of the country, won't be charging less than retail.

Hi Tommy, apologies. You mention a little while ago you were hoping to get a box of 1966 & my first thought was to remind you about the many fakes of this vitola but firstly I assumed you were looking aton of the major players & assumed you had already read of this problem on here or else where. Thinking about it now it was all some time ago a you are still a relative (highly active) member.
I think it would be decent for Jeremy to take your 1966 & let you have the other half of the other split box. I expect you' d still be out of pocket but it would restore your faith in Butterballs if othing else.
Jez, sorry mate but you really should have known better than buying 1966, (the most faked cigar ib recent yrs?) From any other than the most reliable source.

Just to say that Heremy has assured me that this will get sorted. And it was supposed to be advice for a relative noob which got a tad out of hand. Apologies to all for showing my dirty draws in public. And to Jez for making public, I only wanted advice and though I'd lost contact with you. I'm sure this will resolve.
