Have a look on Ebay, there's a couple of good little ones knocking around that are a bit out of date regarding modern releases but a good read for the history and background. You can also pick them up cheaply on Amazon. I'm at work at the moment so can't feed you the titles.

          I misread that as titties.

Perelman's Encyclopedia of Cuban Cigars, is the best & cheapest for the amount of info in it, Google & order today
Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

I've been interested in this as well. I was thinking along the lines of a cigar equivalent to the Great Whiskies book that everyone seems to have with pictures and tasting notes for each producer

I looked up Perelmans on Amazon but all they had was a second hand copy from 2007. There are also two different versions, the US one doesn't include Cuban cigars so make sure you get the right one. To make it easy of course it doesn't have the word 'Cuban' in its title!

I was going to ask the exact same thing when I finally got back to the forum! I've seen a few books on Amazon, but the challenge is knowing which ones are worth a read (like PeeJay's comment about Perelman's). The World of the Habano book is on the H&F website (at least I think it's the same one), so you can have a look through.

I think there is enough collective knowledge and experience on this forum to write pretty much anything anyone would need to know - it's just finding it all. Perhaps we should have a UKCF Guide to the World of Cigars ... a collection of personal experiences and recommendations to help those new and not so new to cigar collecting and smoking!

I've read a few cigar books now and like any history books you'll find a lot of repetition but I did find that each one had some nuggets that the others didn't.

                        Perelman's here:-

If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!
